Open Systems Lab was a registered business in 1994 in Houston, Texas USA. Our main customers was NASA Johnson Space Center, Lockheed Martin and other subcontractors

Our focus at the time was providing GUI solutions based on the X11 platform, a derivative of project Athena, M.I.T.

Subsequently we continued to grow and migrated toward the open source model with projects such as:

• The Apache Foundation works: Apache, Tomcat
• Web and Database Technologies: Php, mySql, PostgreSQL
• Portals and CMS: Liferay, Alfresco, Plone and Zope
• Single Sign On (SSO) solutions: Atlassian Crowd, CAS, OpenLdap (with integration to Active Directory)
• Business Process and workflow: Atlassian Jira, Confluence, SVN
• IDE: Eclipse Plugin Development
• Servers Configurations and management with focus on Linux, Elastic Cloud Computing EC2 and S3
• Network configurations and Management (focus on Cisco solutions)
